Transport

Our loading process is automated and governed by strict security measures that the tank truck drivers must respect, in order to guarantee that the operation is carried out accurately, efficiently in a sustainable process driven framework. When all these steps have been completed, the tank truck leaves the facility and distributes the fuel to the various outlets, which are mainly filling stations, and also marinas and railway stations

Storage

The PMC Group acts as an interface between the refineries and consumers, by bringing the various oil products closer to the user. The storage plants are connected to each other by pipelines, which enables the oil company operators that are PMC customers, to deposit their products at one facility and collect them at another immediately, as required, so that they can make use of their products at multiple points in different geographical areas.

We operate via our own leased storage facilities in Primorsk, Rotterdam. We stored and delivered over 6 Million tons of JP54 in 2017.

Trade

Trading is the core engine of our business, Energy in several different physical forms is the resource we trade the most. In fact, almost all of the PMC Oil's activities are driven by trading from exploration, to shipping, to storage. More than simply a thread linking every aspect of what we do, trading is the conduit through which we receive and share vital market information, maintaining the balance and flow of our liquidity and forge lasting, rewarding relationships with customers around the globe.

Crude Oil

In the crude oil market, we use our global presence, market knowledge and logistics capabilities to balance supply and demand, optimize supply chains and service the needs of our customers around the world. We operate primarily as physical traders. We source oil from a variety of majors and state-owned oil companies.

Middle Distillates

Our mid-distillates trading operation covers jet fuel, diesel and gas oil. Our teams lease storage globally and use tankage to blend products to local specifications and premium-priced fuels. We trade low-sulphur and high-sulphur distillates interchangeably.

Gasoline

We source, store, blend and deliver cost effective gasoline solutions to customers worldwide. We have key relationships in every core trading region of the world, including with national oil companies, major refiners, and numerous downstream partners.

LNG

LNG will continue to be the fastest growing sector of the international energy business for many years. PMC Oil continues to supply our customers both on long-term and spot bases as their requirements change. The continually expanding business is now balanced between term sales and spot transactions. With a growing portfolio we are committing to longer term agreements. Operating these agreements enables PMC Oil to offer more flexibility and optimize the flow of LNG both inside the portfolio and externally.

LPG

We use pressurized vessels to transport the LPG. These enable us to offer excellent flexibility and, importantly, speed and reliability. Refiners tend to have limited LPG storage on site, and with increasingly stringent flaring regulations they need to be able to ship the gas to market quickly. By collecting, shipping, storing and trading gas that would otherwise be flared, we are meeting the needs of both the petrochemical industry and domestic users, as well as supplying the growing demand for auto gas. We are also optimizing the economic use of a resource that would otherwise contribute negatively to climate change.
